Join us for a Science Café celebrating one of the oldest forms of biotechnology, brewing! Brew master Tabu Terrell, MD will share the process of craft beverage creation through a tour and casual conversation about the science of beer at Three Spirits Brewery.

Tabu stopped doctoring and started brewing, following a dream planted during his residency when urged to find a hobby to help through the difficult days.  He loved home brewing from the start and expanded his hobby after studying at the Siebel Institute of Technology, world-renown for education in brewing technology.  Tabu tested and refined his recipes, while envisioning an environment “similar to an upscale wine bar for beer lovers, but with coffee-shop coziness.”  The Three Spirits name and logo now adorn a taproom and brewery in the Lower South End (LoSo) district of Charlotte.

Limited registrations available!  For guests 21 years of age and older, please.  Cash bar; heavy hors d’oeuvres. Additional parking in back lot via Scholtz Road, follow the Crossfit signs.
