When you take a pill or other medicine, did you ever wonder how it does its job to cure what ails you? After all, it needs to brave the mixture of acid and enzymes in your digestive tract, convince your body to absorb it, and deliver it intact to where it needs to do its job.
Dr. Michele Battle, an expert in pharmacological chemistry, will explain it all in everyday language. Dr. Battle is a member of the American Chemical Society, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Parking is across the street from the center city. Parking is covered by CASN. A parking pass will be emailed upon sign up. If walk-in day of event, parking passes will be available at UNC Charlotte Center City front desk.
