The North Carolina Science Festival, produced by Morehead Planetarium and Science Center and presented by Biogen, is expanding its annual timeframe to span the month of April, starting in 2018.
Students taking part in the Plant Pathways Elucidation Project (P2EP) internship program will experience a dynamic summer of science at the N.C. Research Campus (NCRC), a 350-acre life sciences hub in Kannapolis.
As part of the North Carolina Science Festival at UNC Charlotte, there will be several opportunities for students of all ages to participate in different workshops during the month of April. Registration for workshops opens at the end of February.
Join us for The Science of Gemstones with Dr. Christopher Bramlett, chemist and jeweler. Dr. Bramlett will give some of the underlying facts that make gemstones, many of which have no utilitarian value.
